FULL DAY CRAFT VILLAGE TOUR
Pick up time: 08:00 PM
In the morning, drive to the East of Hanoi about 10KM, we arrive Bat Trang which is a famous pottery village surrounded by fertile farmland. You'll stroll in the small alleys of this old village to watch local people producing their fine products and visit some of the houses used as workshops and showrooms. If you want, you can join the local crafts and make your own product as a lovely souvenir from Vietnam.
Back to Hanoi old quater for delicious lunch at “ Cha Ca La Vong”. Then, departure for Dong Ho painting village which is lying on the bank of Duong river and about 40Km from Hanoi. Nowaday, woodprint making in Dong Ho is not as bustling as it was centuries ago. But, local families still preserve hundreds of ancient printing woodblocks as a precious heritage with which year after year they keep printing new copies on orders placed by customers. Here, you can try to make a painting for yourself.
If time permit, we can go to But Thap pagoda. On the way, do not miss your chance to observe the locals working on rice field, boys riding on buffaloes…
